Nice atmosphere good beer friendly staff
Went to this pub for lunch today. One of the best pubs between in four ages. Very historic interior very old to 500 years. Food was good. What made it 5 stars was the waitress. She was ace there was a few customers in and she handled every order to perfection. She was also serving behind the bar and waiting on table. Clearing and bringing drinks to the table as well. We needed more staff like this girl. Nothing fazed her. Sorry I did not good her name, she had pink hair. Well done.
It is very friendly pub. The food is excellent. Plenty of it. I would certainly tell my friends about it.
Nice bar and outside area, good serving times and nice people. Can become busy as it's a small village and finding places indoors can prove difficult, plenty of outdoor space with many benches to sit. There is a small car parking area but the ground is uneven as it has a few potholes and if busy parking is only avalible on the road outside and has a reasonable amount of options for food and drink including a kids menu
Great food and staff. Made very welcome even though we arrived close to the kitchen closing. Dogs also made welcome in certain part of bar.
